Frequently Asked Questions
What does 3P do?
We're a complete source for warehouse storage and safety. Under one roof, we handle on-site rack inspections, capacity placard audits and labeling, warehouse safety product sales, and new pallet racking and storage systems, from specification and supply through installation. Whether you need a single inspection or a full warehouse buildout, we can manage the entire project so you are not coordinating multiple vendors.
What areas do you serve?
All 50 states. We come to you. No facility is too remote for us to schedule. Tell us where your warehouse is located, and we'll arrange the visit.
How fast will I get my inspection report?
Same day. Our inspectors document findings on-site and deliver your report on the day of the inspection, so you can address hazards immediately instead of waiting days for a write-up. Every report is a defensible, standards-based record that stands up to audits and insurance reviews. Larger inspections can be delivered piecemeal, then compiled into one report at a later time.
What standards do your inspections follow?
Every inspection is performed by OSHA-aligned specialists and benchmarked against recognized rack safety standards, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910 for general industry, ANSI/RMI MH16.1 for industrial steel storage racks, and RMI guidance for damage assessment and load application. Your report references the specific standard behind each finding.
Do I have to buy repairs or products from you after an inspection?
No. Our inspections document what we actually find, with no obligation to purchase repairs or products from us. You own the findings, and the next steps are entirely your decision. If you want us to correct the issues we identify, we can supply the parts and coordinate the work, but there is no requirement to do so.
What safety products do you sell?
We offer column protectors and bollards, protective guarding and barriers, ergonomic matting, floor striping and marking, storage cabinets, rolling stock, casters and wheels, and rack repair kits, all sourced from trusted manufacturers and shipped nationwide. When an inspection uncovers a hazard, we make it easy to address it.
Do you sell and install pallet racking?
Yes. We supply new selective, structural, and bolted-frame pallet racking, along with specialty systems such as cantilever, drive-in, and push-back racks from established manufacturers. We help you select the right system for your loads and facility, supply the components, and coordinate installation.
What are capacity placards, and do I need them?
Capacity placards display the maximum safe load for each rack bay, a requirement under OSHA and RMI guidance. We audit every placard in your facility for presence, legibility, and accuracy against manufacturer-published capacity charts, then source and install replacements on-site. Engineer-stamped capacity verification is available upon request.
What should I expect after I submit an inquiry?
One of our specialists will contact you within one to two business days with a quote. From there, we create a checklist tailored to your facility's layout, rack systems, and operational needs, then schedule the visit around your operation.
Can you really handle a whole project end-to-end?
Yes. That is the advantage of offering everything in-house. A single facility may need an inspection, replacement placards, repairs to damaged uprights, new racking in one area, and additional dock protection. Instead of managing several vendors, you work with one point of contact who already understands your site.
